Tag Updating Introduced By AWS Service Catalog

AWS Service Catalog permits organizations to build and control catalogs of IT services which are sanctioned for use on AWS. These IT services can contain all from virtual machine images, servers, software, and databases to finalize multi-tier application architectures. AWS Service Catalog lets you to centrally control frequently deployed IT services, and aids you get uniform governance and meet your compliance needs, while allowing users to rapidly deploy exclusively the authorized IT services they require. Now, AWS Service Catalog allows updating of tags on provisioned products and related resources to make certain that your existing tagging taxonomy is used to provisioned resources. Administrators can allow tag updating on provisioned products through a Resource Update constraint, and holders can then update their provisioned products and modify tags. Tag-only updates will not influence working resources. To know further about Service Catalog Tag Update administration, refer AWS Services Catalog Administrator Guide and to know how end users can retain tags, refer User Guide.
