AWS Glue now adds support encryption of data at rest for development endpoints and ETL jobs

AWS Glue is an ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) Service that allows the customer to prepare and load the data for analytics. AWS Glue now adds support for ETL jobs and development endpoints for data encryption at rest. Now with the latest support, you can now encrypt metadata objects stored in the AWS Glue Data Catalog. You can also encrypt the data written in Amazon CloudWatch Logs and Amazon S3 by development endpoints, crawlers, and jobs. AWS Key Management Service can be used to encrypt the data stored in the AWS Glue. You can configure the encryption settings for the ETL Jobs, crawlers and development endpoints using the security configurations in AWS Glue.
