Amazon Pinpoint now let’s you record messaging events and analytics with Events Ingestion API

Amazon Pinpoint now adds Events Ingest API with batch submission capability that allows you to record analytics and messaging events. You can also submit the events in batches or individually. The events and endpoints that are updated can be used to record the user events from the backend in addition to events recorded by the client application. Earlier you could only the record events with Amazon Pinpoint by using the AWS Mobile SDKs or libraries like AWS Amplify. But now you can record the events and the message events with Events Ingestion API. You can build your own client for recording the events with any customization you want. The events that are generated by the users can also be recorded and updating the user's endpoints.
