Amazon Inspector has
now expanded its security assessments by including Debian 8 and Debian 9 for
detecting Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures and Security Best Practices. You
have to install the Amazon Inspector Agent on the Amazon EC2 instances to run
security assessments and then configure assessments in the Amazon Inspector
console and run the assessment. Amazon Inspector is a security assessment
service that offers on-demand service by helping the customers validate the
security configuration of the operating system and applications deployed in the
Amazon Elastic Cloud Compute Environments. With Amazon Inspector you can check
for any vulnerability in EC2 instances and analyze the instance configurations
against the security standards.
