The Amazon Web Services Storage Gateway Service has now expanded the features of the Tape Gateway-Virtual Tape Library by adding support as a supported backup application for Dell EMC Network v9. You can now conveniently switch from Tape Gateway-Virtual Tape Library (VTL) to Cloud Backups by utilizing the Tape Gateway with the Dell EMC Networker v9 where at the same time you can retain the backup management processes. The local Tape Gateway appliance on-premises can be used to write backup applications and the Storage Gateway service stores the backups in the cloud-based VTL that utilizes cost-effective, secure and scalable Amazon glacier and Amazon S3 storage.
