The AWS Storage Gateway Service has now extended the capabilities of Tape Gateway-Virtual Tape Library by adding support for Dell EMC Networker v9. The users can conveniently switch from tape to cloud backups by utilizing the Tape Gateway with Dell EMC Networker v9 while at the same time preserving based on the backup management processes. Backup applications write data to the local Tape Gateway appliance on premises and the AWS Storage Gateway service stores the backups in the VTL which is cloud-based that utilizes cost-effective, scalable and secure Amazon glacier storage and Amazon S3.
