AWS Serverless Application Model now adds support for the Additional Amazon API Gateway features

By utilizing the Amazon Web Services Serverless Application Model you will be offered more option to configure and deploy REST APIs. The customers can now configure regional endpoints, logging, CORS and metrics for the Amazon API Gateway resources in the AWS Serverless Application Model template. APIs can also be configured that supports the binary data and you can also specify method settings like Cache TTL and throttling limits. AWS Serverless Application Models extends the AWS CloudFormation to offer a simple way of specifying the Amazon API Gateway APIs, Amazon DynamoDB tables and AWS Lambda function that is required by the serverless application.
