Amazon Inspector has now added support Amazon Linux 2

Amazon Inspector now supports the security assessments on the Amazon Linux 2 Runtime behavior analysis, Security Best Practices and common vulnerabilities and exposures. You have to install the Amazon Inspector Agent on the preferred Amazon Elastic Cloud Compute instance to run security assessments so configure the assessments in the Inspector console and run the assessment. Amazon Inspector is an on-demand security assessment service that allows the Amazon Web Services customers validate the security configurations of the applications and operating system deployed in the Amazon Elastic Cloud Compute Environments. Amazon Inspector provides the flexibility to check Elastic Cloud Compute instances for any vulnerability and analyze the instance configurations against the security benchmarks.
