Amazon Elasticsearch Service now supports the Elasticsearch 6.2 and Kibana 6.2

Amazon Elastic Search now supports the Elasticsearch 6.2 and Kibana 6.2. Elasticsearch 6.2 version delivers multiples enhancements over the Elasticsearch 6.0 stack that includes a new ranking evaluation API, Vega interactive visualizations, composite aggregations with paging and index splitting. Amazon Elasticsearch Service now offers customers an Elasticsearch’s easy to use APIs and the real-time abilities along with the security, scalability, and availability required by the production workloads. When you are creating an Amazon Elasticsearch Service Domain you can now choose the Elasticsearch version 6.2. All the Amazon Elasticsearch Service domains utilize Elasticsearch 6.2 are combined with Kibana 6.2 which is a corresponding version of the open-source visualization tool.
