Amazon DynamoDB Accelerator (DAX) is generally available in Asia Pacific (Mumbai) and supports new features

Amazon DynamoDB Accelerator (DAX) announced that the release of the following new support for SDK for Node.js. And also it has added support for new R4 instances in US West (Oregon) and US East (N.Virginia), EU (Ireland), US West (N.California) and Asia Pacific (Tokyo). Amazon DynamoDB Accelerator (DAX) is now generally available in two new regions, Asia Pacific (Mumbai) and South America (Sao Paulo). R4 instances are the next generation of the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud Memory Optimized instances with a cache size of 2X of the current R3 instances which are well-suited for memory-intensive, latency-sensitive workloads such as DAX. Amazon DynamoDB Accelerator (DAX) is highly available, fully managed in-memory cache for DynamoDB that offers up to a 10x guaranteed performance improvement by reaching request from milliseconds to microseconds at millions of request per second.
