You can now add a short description of the security group with Amazon EC2

Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud enables Amazon Customers to add a short description to the individual rules of the security group. With this new function, the customers can now add details about the reason why the security group was created and when it was updated or created. It will make easier for the customers by making the management of security groups simply because they will no longer have the necessity to track the information using the documents and spreadsheets. This feature is available in all the Amazon Web Service Public Regions and it is also supported by the AWS Elastic Compute Cloud Security Groups and AWS Virtual Private Cloud.
