AWS QuickSight enables users to generate analyses from import custom date formats and from dashboards

Amazon QuickSight introduced a new feature where the users can now generate an analysis from the dashboard of their account. The users can quickly build customized views of the dashboard content by improving the existing visuals or adding new visuals. Users can use such capabilities to start quickly by generating a QuickSight analysis from the dashboards shared with them. This capability will reduce the request for modification of dashboards and will facilitate faster onboarding of users to Quicksight especially for the Data Administrators. Amazon QuickSight enables users to import non-standard time/date data into the QuickSight as date fields and can customize default QuickSight-detected date formats.
