Amazon EC2 System Manager and Amazon Inspection are now available HIPAA eligible

Amazon EC2 System Manager and Amazon Inspector have gained the HIPAA eligibility so now you can run Amazon Inspector on EC2 instances that consist of Protected Health information. You can use System Manager to handle the infrastructure that includes protected health information (PHI) data. If you already have BAA with AWS then you can start right away with the accounts that the BAA covers. If you don’t have BAA executed with AWS or any queries on the matter of HIPAA eligible services on AWS you can contact AWS (https://aws.amazon.com/health/providers-and-insurers/inbound/) that will help you clear out your queries by connecting you with the sales team.
