Amazon QuickSight Customers can now connect to Amazon Athena

Amazon Web Services announced that the Amazon QuickSight is now available to connect to Amazon Athena. Amazon Athena is a serverless interactive query engine to visualize and analyze the data in Amazon S3 hosted in EU (Ireland) Region. Count Distinct can be now used on the dimensions and metrics in the visualizations and can also aggregate data fields by week for SPICE data sets. This update is available in all the QuickSight Regions that is US West (Oregon), EU (Ireland) and US East (N.Virginia and Ohio).
