AWS Storage Gate adds support for AWS KMS for encryption of the data stored

The data that is stored in the AWS Storage Gateway can be encrypted with the extended support for AWS Key Management Service for improving Encryption Capabilities. AWS Key Management Service lets you manage the Encryption easily which is used to encrypt the data. The data stored in AWS by all the gateway types are been supported by the AWS KMS for encryption of the data. The Tape Gateway that manages the virtual tapes, File Gateway that manages the Amazon S3 for file storage as objects and Volume Gateway that creates EBS Snapshots and in-cloud volumes are been supported by the AWS KMS Data Encryption. If the AWS KMS is not used at all then the Amazon S3 Managed Encryption keys encrypts the data that is stored in the Storage Gateway service.
