Amazon API Gateway now adds support for Status Request/response parameters without altering the backend API code. Based on the content of the body, you can remap the response status with the latest support. The response headers or the request headers, path parameters and query strings can be overridden that is based on the contents of the body, status code or other parameters. API Gateway allows you to map the parameters one-to-one and map a group of integration response status codes to a single response status code. You can perform many to one parameter mappings easily with the mapping template overrides.
