Amazon Inspector agents has got new features such as AWS Security Best Practices, perform assessments for CVE and CIS Benchmarks

Amazon Inspector improved features of Inspector Agent which will enable it to perform an assessment for Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures, AWS Security Best Practices for supported Operating Systems, Center for Internet Security Benchmarks indifferent of the kernel version installed. Earlier the Inspector Agent was reliant on the internal kernel module that supported the particular Linux Operating System Kernel versions. The Inspector Agent also could not be installed or can be utilized to operate any security assessments for supported Linux OS that were utilizing the older, custom or non-default kernels. But with the latest update now the users can use any kernel and operate those assessments.
