AWS has introduced DAX 2 months ago which also known as DynamoDB database for a memory cache. DAX is going to improve the performance of the database queries by reading a lot of data and responding quickly. Tinder and Expedia are already using the preview version and Vogels is been identified as ad-tech will need such level of performance, According to AWS.
Vogels wrote in a post saying that DAX improves the performance of the speed where you can manage million of queries by delivering answers in Microseconds. The database is a huge competition among the big player in Cloud business which has heated up in 2017.
