AWS has now announced Amazon Container Service for Kubernetes version 2

Amazon Elastic Container Service for Kubernetes enables you to deploy, scale and manage the containerized application using the Kubernetes on AWS Cloud. Kubernetes manages a group of compute instances that can be used on any available compute resources or containerized applications without any need to change the operational tooling. AWS has announced an upgraded version for AWS EKS platform which is now available version 2. The Amazon EKS version is been implemented on the basis of how AWS EKS configures the Kubernetes API server. All the EKS cluster that created are operating on the Platform version eks 1 and the clusters that are created after the EKS version 2 will be available on eks 2.
