With Amazon FreeRTOS Over the air updates, you can deploy files to multiple devices in your fleet. It was originally designed to update device firmware but now it can be utilized to send any files to multiple devices that are registered under the AWS IoT Device Management Service. The files that are sent over to multiple devices the data during the transit are encrypted so that the user can identify whether the data has tampered or not. AWS has now announced the general availability of Amazon FreeRTOS over the air update feature so now the user can utilize OTA update to deploy bug fixes, new firmware images, a security update to microcontroller-based devices.
