You can now trigger workflows built in AWS IoT Rules Engine

AWS IoT Core lets you connect to other devices easily and secure the communication between the cloud applications and other devices. Now with AWS Step functions, you can now trigger Workflows built in the AWS IoT Rules Engine using the Step Functions action. The AWS IoT rules engine now supports 15 action types with the latest support for Step functions Action. Now you don’t need to write separate AWS Lambda functions for the workflow control with the new support because now you can build workflow visually with the AWS Step functions and trigger them directly from the AWS IoT. AWS IoT Rules engine is an element of the AWS IoT core that evaluates the inbound messages that are deployed in AWS IoT core and transform and delivers them to other device or cloud service that is based on the rules that you define.
