AWS System Manager Automation now adds support for Calling AWS APIs

AWS System Manager Automation workflows support Calling AWS APIs that will allow you to perform three new AWS API Actions that is Execute, Assert and wait when using the benefits of the Automation Services such as safe at scale operation with the approvals. AWS System Manager offers a common platform for you to automate the operational tasks on all AWS Resources. Earlier you had to write the custom scripts to make any changes in the resource which is within the automation service. You can now make API calls to AWS services using the three new actions. Execute allows you to execute the AWS API actions, Wait enables the workflow to wait for the event state or for a specific resource state before continuing with the workflow and Assert enables the automation workflow to wait for specific resource state or an event state and then again continues when specific state is working again.
