AWS IoT Core adds new Amazon Trust Services Endpoints

AWS IoT Core allows customers to build additional endpoints for the account in each AWS Regions that will provision an Amazon Trust Services signed certificate instead of VeriSign signed certificate. Amazon Trust Services endpoints will help the customers eliminate the potential issues that will deprecate trust in all Symantec root certificate authorities including the VeriSign Class 3 Public Primary G5 root CA that is used to sign in into AWS IoT Core Server certificates. As Symantec Certificate is been distrusted by Google, Apple and Mozilla the ATS root CAs can be used because it is been trusted by default by many popular browsers and the operating system.
