Amazon Aurora now brings the availability of performance insights with MySQL Compatibility

Amazon RDS Performance Insights will make it easier to detect and solve performance challenges and is now available for Amazon Aurora. Every non-expert will find it easy to understand and detect performance problems with the dashboard visualizing the database load. You can start by logging into the Amazon RDS Management Console and enable “Performance Insights” to gain access for a new or existing database instance as well as viewing the dashboard. Enabling Performance Insights will also add an automatic egress regarding key performance metrics to Amazon CloudWatch. Alerts such as CPU Load can also be set and managed through CloudWatch. Amazon RDS brings ease in setting up, operate and scale the databases deployed in the cloud.
