Amazon Elastic Container Service - Service Discovery can be utilized to discover and connect Amazon ECS tasks that use the host and the bridge networking modes. This will make it convenient to start using the ECS service discovery for containerized applications operating on Amazon ECS. Earlier, ECS service discovery only supported those task that is launched using the AWS Virtual Private Cloud Network mode which assigns the task a dedicated elastic networking interface.
