Amazon Web Services Service Catalog is used by the managed service providers, system integrators, and enterprises to manage, govern and create a catalog of IT services has now introduced Auto Tags for provisioned resources. Auto Tags are tags that detect the user, product, and portfolio that launch the product and are automatically implemented by the AWS Service Catalog to provision resources. The provisioned resources will be tagged with the unique identifiers for User, Portfolio, and products with the new AWS Service Catalog AutoTags. This offers set of tags that will reflect the AWS Service Catalog structure of users, products, and portfolios that customers have set up in the catalog. Automatic Tagging does not count against the customer’s 50 tag limit.
