Amazon Web Services System Manager now adds support for InSpec

AWS System Manager has now added support for InSpec by Chef which is an open source framework that will help the user perform configuration compliance as a code. Earlier you have to write compliance checks as scripts in the AWS System Manager to gain configuration compliance information. But now you can utilize InSpec to build custom configuration compliance profiles that are written in Inspec's human readable Domain Specific Language. You can also utilize prebuilt profiles that are created by the InSpec community. InSpec scans can be operated utilizing AWS RunInSpecChecks which is a new System Manager Document and by selection a GitHub Repository or the Amazon Simple Storage Service bucket as the source type.
