Amazon Web Services has now added support for GraphQL subcriptions and also offers sample photo application associating with AWS Amplify

AWS has now released support for Android GraphQL subscriptions with the AWS AppSync Android SDK. Complex Object capabilities enables GraphQL operation by utilizing the content stored in the Amazon Simple Storage Service using the Amazon Dynamo database link that is supported as part of the release. With this new feature it enables streaming of real datato the applications from the data sources such as AWS Lambda, Amazon Elasticsearch service and Amazon Dynamo database. Amazon Web Services also released a JavaScript sample application that shows usage of the AWS AppSync and AWS Amplify library along with the Complex objects feature.
