Amazon GameLift introduced Backfill Functionality for FlexMatch

Amazon Gamelift has now introduced Backfill Functionality for FlexMatch which is an efficient matchmaking service that allows you to match players on the basis of rules that are defined. FlexMatch will enable the users to create flexible and robust matchmaking pipeline to suit the desired gaming experience whether you choose to create the matches based on the latency, player skills or other criteria. With this new update, the FlexMatch now finds the players to join a game session that is already in the progress by using the same custom criteria utilized to populate the original game session. This will make sure that the player drops from the existing multiplayer session so that you can backfill the empty slot with the preferred new player for that particular match and provide a gaming experience that is fast full, fun and fast for the players.
