Amazon Elastic Container Service now supports Window Server Containers

Amazon Elastic Container Service supports for Windows Server Containers for Production Workloads. Earlier, Windows Containers were supported only by the Amazon Elastic Container Service as a Public Beta. Amazon Elastic Container Service delivers an Elastic Container Service Windows Server Amazon Machine Image which is based on Elastic Cloud Compute Windows Server 2016 AMI and it includes Docker 17.06 Enterprise Edition and the Elastic Container Service Agent 1.16. This AMI offers enhanced instance and container launch time performance. The Elastic Container Service Agent operates as a Windows Service that provisions upgraded Elastic Container Service Agent Lifecycle Management Experience. Amazon Elastic Container Service also supports the Windows Containers Memory and CPU limits including the CPU utilization and Amazon CloudWatch Memory and Reservation Metrics at the cluster and service level.
