Amazon Elastic Cloud Compute Instances has now got Network Performance enhancement

Amazon Elastic Cloud Compute Customers can now use up to 5 time’s higher bandwidth when receiving or sending network traffic between Amazon Simple Storage Service and instance within the same region. Customers can also opt for higher bandwidth for traffic between different availability zone and instances. Earlier the instances were limited to only to maximum 5 Gbps for traffic outside of the cluster placement group. But with the recent update, the customers can now utilize the full network bandwidth available on each instance if there is more workloads such as the applications that need ingestion of high amount of data from S3 or to do a periodic backup of data to S3.
