Amazon Time Sync Service is now introduced

Amazon Time Sync Service offers a reliable time and highly accurate reference that is natively accessible from the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud instances. With Amazon Time Sync Service created on the Amazon’s proven network infrastructure it uses a fleet of redundant atomic reference clocks and satellite connected in Amazon Web Service Regions to provide current time reading of the Coordinated Universal Time global standard. The Service is developed in a way to be highly available with a continuously monitored time infrastructure and delivers a low variance reference time source. Leap seconds are meant to source application errors and be a serious matter and system administrator but Amazon time sync can be used it to automatically smooth it out.
