With the new Quick Start update you can deploy Magento on the Amazon Web Service Cloud with Amazon Aurora

Amazon Web Service has released a major update to the Magento Quick Start Reference deployment.  This recent update will add support for Amazon Aurora as the relational database option that is deployed by utilizing the Quick Start that also consists with enhancements to the networking infrastructure via the deployment of the Linux Bastion hosts. Magento is an open-source content management system made for the e-commerce websites. The New Quick Start will automatically configure and deploy Magento Open Source 2.1.x in a highly availability architecture on the Amazon Web Service Cloud using the AWS services such as the Amazon ElastiCache, Amazon Relational Database Service and Amazon Elastic File System.
