AWS has introduces Amazon Web Service Directory Service for Microsoft Active Directory (Standard Edition)

Amazon Web Service Directory Service is now Introduced support for Microsoft Active Directory (Standard Edition) which is also known as the AWS Microsoft AD. It is a managed Microsoft Active Directory that is upgraded and optimized for midsize and small businesses (SMBs). The users who operate typical SMB workloads can utilize AWS Microsoft AD (Standard Edition) to build a cost-effective, managed and highly available Microsoft AD in the Amazon Web Service Cloud. AWS Microsoft AD can be utilized to join Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud instances to the managed domain conveniently. It also offers single sign-on access to AD-aware application and services in the Amazon Web Service Cloud.
