Amazon CloudWatch now introduces Horizontal Annotation for Dashboards and Metrics

In Amazon CloudWatch you can now add Horizontal Annotation to the Dashboards and Graphs. Horizontal Annotations is quick visual checks of the metrics that is passing through the pre-defined values such as offering contextual information for interpreting metric values or SLA limits. To analyze you graphed metrics easily and conveniently you can add lines at the key values at the Y-axis and can also shade areas between the lines. You can add the horizontal annotations through AWS Management Console or you can manually add them by using the Dashboards APIs through the AWS SDKs and the AWS Command Line Interface (CLI).
