With this new update, it makes G3 instances preferable for workloads such as 3D visualizations, Virtual Reality Applications, 3D Rendering, graphics-intensive remote workstations and video encoding. Amazon EC2 G3 Instance is now available in EU (Ireland), US East (Ohio), AWS GovCloud (US), US East (N. Virginia), US West (N. California) and US West (Oregon). Using the Amazon Web Service Management Console you can now launch G3 instances with AWS Command Line Interface (CLI), third-party libraries and AWS SDKs.
