Encryption made easy with Amazon Kinesis Streams using Server side encryption

Amazon Web Services has introduced Server-Side Encryption with Amazon Kinesis streams and AWS Key Management Service (KMS) Keys. Server-side encryption will make the process easy to meet the strict management requirements by coding your data within Kinesis Streams. Kinesis Management Console or the AWS SDK can be used to get the encryption status of the stream and you can also check if the specific operation was encrypted. Auditing can also be done on the encryption history with the use of AWS Cloud Trail. Server-side encryption is free Kinesis feature but the standard KMS key will have a usage cost. Server-side encryption is not available in all the regions but it is available in US East (N. Virginia), EU (Ireland), US West (N. California and Oregon), Asia Pacific (Singapore regions) and Asia Pacific (Tokyo).
