Amazon Elastic File System is now PCI DSS compliance eligible

Amazon Elastic File System has announced that they have achieved eligibility for Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard compliant service. Now with this eligibility, the customers can now store sensitive payment card data in an encrypted Amazon Elastic File System for use cases such as mobile wallets, payment fraud prevention and payment processing that is subject to Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard compliance. PCI security standard councils provisions PCI DSS that is implemented to all the data that is stored, transmitted or processed cardholder data or sensitive authentication data including service providers, acquirers, merchants, processors, and issuers. Amazon Elastic File System is an elastic file storage for AWS Cloud service and on-premise resources.
