Amazon Connect has now add support Amazon Lex Chatbots by using the Speech Synthesis Markup Language

Amazon Connect customers can now utilize the Speech Synthesis Markup Language when using the Amazon Lex chatbot in the contact center which will enable them to personalize conversations with the end users by enhancing the chatbot voice. You can now control and customer features of speech such as volume, speech rate and pronunciation with the SSML tags. Speech Synthesis Markup Language with the Amazon Lex Chatbots can be used in the US East AWS Region where the Amazon Connect and Amazon Lex Services are available.
