The Amazon Appstream 2.0 agent is software that operates on the streaming instances and allows application streaming. But now you can allow the images to use the latest version of the AppStream 2.0 agent. This allows automatic updates for the AppStream 2.0 agent that helps to make sure that the streaming instances always include the latest security updates, performance improvements and latest features available from Amazon Web Service.
