You can now Encrypt the LDAP Communication with the Amazon Web Service Directory Service for Microsoft Active Directory

Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) communication can be encrypted between the application and Amazon Web Service Directory Service for the Microsoft Active Directory which is also known as the AWS Microsoft AD. Many Linux and Windows Applications use Lightweight Directory Access Protocol to update and read information about the devices and users consisting with Personally Identifiable Information (PII). You can also now enable the LDAP over the Secure Sockets Layer/ Transport Layer Security which also called LDAPS to encrypt the LDAP communications end to end. This will aid you to secure the PII and other sensitive information exchanged with the Amazon Web Service Microsoft AD over the networks that can be exploited.
