AWS has announced that Amazon Web Service Storage Gateway is now HIPAA eligible. If a user has opted for Business Associate Agreement with Amazon Web Service then such users can now use the AWS Storage Gateway to Backup, Archive and store protected health information on cost-effective, secure and scalable AWS Storage Services. Amazon Glacier, Amazon Elastic Book Store, and Amazon S3 are also HIPAA eligible.
