Amazon Elastic Cloud Compute System Manager Parameter Store supports versioning

Amazon Elastic Cloud Compute System Manager each Parameter can be versioned. Earlier, Parameter utilized in Parameter Store was overwritten when it gets updated. With this latest release, the iteration of the parameter can be saved and can also be referenced via a unique version number. This is very essential when you need to recover from unintended parameter overwrites or refers to the historic parameter values. When rolling back the deployment the users can refer to an earlier version of the configuration data. Historic parameters also can be used if there is any need to report changes for audits.
