AWS RDS for SQL Server has increased the Data Storage to 16 TB

AWS RDS for SQL has made their storage increase to 16 TB when earlier it was only 4TB.You have to use the Provisioned IOPS and General Purpose (SSD) storage types to avail the new storage limit. The Range of the IOPS to Storage (GB) Ratio is been modified to 10:1 to 50:1. This new update in the additional data storage and higher IOPS will aid in data warehouses to support larger workloads and allow transactional databases on single Amazon RDS instances without any need to share the data on multiple instances. This new feature that is added on AWS RDS for SQL Server is now available in all AWS Regions.
