Amazon now has its own Linux which now available for download

Amazon Web Services have now developed its own Linux which can be downloaded by their customers. Jeff Barr made the announcement in a blog spot saying that Linux configuration is designed for improving the security by not having any remote root access where the SSH only runs using key pairs and not passwords. He also adds that it is built for a very small number of non-critical packages. The customers have to test it before they use the Linux so that they don't have to bear any additional cost. As Linux is made from the same source packages and code compare to Amazon Machine Image, it will give a smooth path to container adoption.
