Amazon RDS for Oracle has now introduced Oracle Standard Edition Two as a License Included option for the AWS GovCloud Region. In Oracle SE2 you can move Oracle SE and Oracle SE1. You don’t have to purchase Oracle SE2 license in the license included service model. In Amazon RDS pricing model it includes the underlying hardware resources, database management capabilities, and software license. You just have to launch Oracle SE2 instance by selecting the license included option in the AWS Management Console. By opting for Amazon RDS for Oracle the setting up process becomes easier and operating and scalability performance increases.
