Box has come up with Box Drive where it allows connecting
desktops to the cloud. Instead of using cloud service through the browser you
can use it on the desktop. It has revolutionised the way of storing data on the
hard drive, now you can store your data virtually with minimal cost without any
investment in the hard drive servers.
Box said that the main aim of cloud
service is to reduce the burden on the hard drives and also it will improve the
security. Amazon Web Services and Cisco have already introduced such offers in
the market.
