Now Amazon EC2 T3 Instances assisted by Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL

Now you can start Amazon T3 Instances types while using Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL. Amazon T3 instances are the next generation burstable general-purpose instance type which gives a baseline level of CPU performance with the potential to burst CPU usage at any time for as long as needed. T3 instances give a balance of compute, memory, and network resources and are perfect for database workloads with moderate CPU usage that occurs temporary spikes in use. T3 instances collects CPU credits when a workload is running under baseline threshold. Each earned CPU credit offers the T3 instance the chance to burst with the performance of a complete CPU core for one minute when required. Amazon RDS database instances executing PostgreSQL versions 9.6.9 (and higher) and 10.4 (and higher) are supported with T3 instance types. Refer the Amazon RDS User Guide for details and Amazon RDS Pricing for pricing details and regional availability.
