AWS Database Migration Service(DMS)aids you relocate databases to AWS faster and safer. The source database stays completely functional throughout the migration, reducing downtime to applications which depends on the database. The AWS DMS can relocate your data to and from very extensively used commercial and open-source databases. Now AWS DMS has enlarged functionality by annexing support for Amazon DocumentDB with MongoDB compatibility as a target. With the DMS, now you can execute live relocations to Amazon DocumentDB from MongoDB replica sets, sharded clusters, or any AWS DMS supported source containing Amazon Aurora, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, Oracle, SAP ASE and Microsoft SQL Server databases with least downtime.
