Now Amazon ECR Enables Repository Tagging

Amazon Elastic Container Registry (ECR) is a fully-managed Docker container registry which makes it simple for developers to save, handle, and deploy Docker container images. Now, Amazon Elastic Container Registry (ECR) repositories can be tagged with custom metadata. This makes it easier for you to organize, manage, search, and allocate costs. Earlier, you required to configure authorization for every repository individually. With many repositories extend over several teams, it was time-consuming to update the authorization to accommodate organization modifications. Besides, there was no other way to know utilization per team to handle cost assignments. Refer AWS region table for complete list of every AWS regions where Amazon ECR is available. Repository Tagging is not available in EU (Stockholm) and AWS GovCloud. To know more about Amazon ECR documentation
